Historic Railroad Museum Event Venue, Meeting Space, Tourist Location Starts from $100.00

Located in the heart of downtown Plant City. The Plant City Depot was built in 1909 and served two railroads, Atlantic Coast Line and Seaboard Air Line Railroad. The train station operated until 1971 and later was added to the National Historic Buildings in 1974. Today the museum offered huge collections of railroad memorabilia, a fully restored 1963 Seaboard Air Line Caboose and 1942 Whitcomb Locomotive. Across from the depot is a two story train viewing platform and it has been rated as one of the top best 75 places in the United States to view trains by Trains Magazine. Few films have been made here in Plant City such as No Postage Necessary 2018 along with a tv series which filmed last year called Black Veil. We are a 501 (c) (3) Non Profit Museum. All money made supports the museum and its goals. All staff are volunteers. All pricing is negotiable.
