Ours is a functional and versatile space with a pleasant mixture of shared and private work areas. The main lounge area is outfitted with comfortable and practical alcoves for reading, meetings, office/creative work, interviews, and more. A wide-open glass bay door overlooking the railroad tracks invites natural lighting, which keeps the space bright and energetic. We included electrical outlets that are easily accessible from each workspace to ensure our guests can use their electronic devices no matter where they sit. The main lounge space also boasts a functional stage for live performances. During the day, tables are set up to provide guests with more seating options, however, at night the stage is used to host live musical performances, spoken poetry events, stand-up comedy, and other live art events. In the back of Brew Next Door, separate from the main lounge area, is a smaller studio section for guests who prefer a more secluded and quiet work environment. This space includes a shared countertop and a small sitting area that comfortably seats 3-5 people. This backspace is separated from the main lounge by a series of window panes. Throughout the day, we serve locally roasted coffees and artisan pastries. We have also built a functional kitchen in a hollowed silver airstream to treat our guests to healthy bites, breakfast, and lunch. At night, our full bar is activated so guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines while they watch live music and other artistic performances. Unlike most lounges in the area, we offer both coffee and refreshing adult beverages daily. With a full bar available, we create unique drink offerings that are the perfect match for productive days and outgoing, social-centric nights. Our space is designed to cater to our community in many different capacities and for many different reasons. We are most known for our inclusion of the arts and our attention to the artists who make our community so special. However, we also offer comfortable workspaces for professionals of all disciplines, making our space a union of both the creative and the technical. We also have a built-in high-definition projector for use in meetings, creative workshops, and more. Every week, we are host to professional gatherings (both corporate and creative), photoshoots, video shoots, interviews, art shows, live music, artistic performances, community workshops, cocktail parties, happy hours, networking events, and much more.
